TEAM Safety Services Limited provide practical advice in achieving accessible services under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA). As a member of the NRAC we help our clients understand and achieve their legal obligations under the DDA.

As with all TEAM Safety Services products we provide realistic solutions to enable our clients to achieve accessible services where everyone can participate equally. This service varies from advice and guidance regarding Employer’s legal responsibilities to detailed access audits.

The Access audit looks at your environment and services provided. The audit will highlight any potential barriers that people may face when trying to access your services. Taking a journey through your premise we assess the following areas:

• External approaches
• Car parking
• Entrances
• Reception areas
• Access and egress routes
• WC facilities

• Internal surface finishes
• Signage
• Lighting and acoustics
• Means of escape
• Premise circulation

Following the 'on site' assessment, you will receive a detailed report providing a list of recommendations. A strategy will be devised to ensure you fully understand what actions need to be taken to provide a suitable accessible environment. TEAM Safety Services will support you throughout this process.
